Jacqui's Journey:
A Path to Healing & Purpose
After a brain injury, Jacqui faced immense challenges. She lost her ability to walk and talk, and her visual and auditory senses were profoundly altered. It was a difficult and complex time, but yoga became her lifeline.
Through mindfulness and meditation, Jacqui began to uncover a deep well of strength and resilience within herself. The ancient practices of yoga, including breathwork (pranayama), meditation, and ayurveda became her personal tools for healing. She experienced firsthand how these practices could transform her recovery, bringing her solace and a renewed sense of wholeness.
Jacqui's remarkable journey led her to a profound realization: she needed to share this powerful healing with others. This personal experience deepened her commitment to guiding individuals on their own paths of recovery and well-being. That's why she founded Brain Waves Yoga™—to offer the very same research-backed techniques and healing she discovered and used for herself.
